On Friday 25th September, we joined people across the country in supporting Macmillan Cancer Support by hosting our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning at Struan Lodge Care Home.
Our residents came together to enjoy a lovely selection of cakes, with plenty of tea and coffee to go around. The morning was filled with friendly conversation and the simple pleasure of spending time together. After all, there's nothing quite like catching up with friends over a cuppa, especially when there are delicious treats to enjoy!
Social events like our coffee morning play an important part in life at Struan Lodge. They give residents something to look forward to and create opportunities to enjoy each other's company in a relaxed setting. These moments of connection can have a positive impact on mental wellbeing, helping everyone feel part of our welcoming community.

The morning also gave us the chance to support a cause that means so much to families across the country and in our community. At Struan Lodge, we value our residents' individual choices and interests, including the causes that matter to them. Coming together to support Macmillan Cancer Support brought a shared sense of purpose to the occasion and made the morning even more meaningful.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us support Macmillan's important work. It was a wonderful opportunity to share a few laughs, enjoy some delicious cake and make a difference together.
Our Macmillan Coffee Morning is just one example of the activities we enjoy at Struan Lodge. Through our varied activities programme, we encourage residents to stay socially connected and enjoy pastimes that keep their minds active. Whether we're supporting a good cause or simply sharing time with friends, we aim to make every day at Struan Lodge enjoyable and fulfilling.
