    Monique has been in nursing for over 30 years and has had the privilege of working in a variety of settings. Monique has always had a passion for caring for people in their older years while ensuring a person-centred approach to their care. Monique is committed to ensuring that the residents have the highest quality of care alongside the great team here at Struan Lodge.

    Silvia Huckova is a registered nurse and has been working in Struan Lodge for 19 years. She had her nursing degree from Slovakia and started working as a carer for 3 years in the initial stages of her career. This helped to improve her skills and knowledge as a nurse, and she could learn more about the working environment in Struan Lodge. Silvia is efficient and hardworking, and she helps to guide the team on a day-to-day basis. Through the 19 years of her journey, she is happy at Struan Lodge and is proud to be part of Sruan Lodge.

    Louisa is the first point of contact for administration in the home. Louisa has worked in Social Care for a few years now and likes Struan Lodge as it is very much a “home from home” environment and the smaller setting feels more personal.

    Rachael McKinnon has joined us and brings with her a wealth of experience and energy. On her first day she already knew a couple of our residents from previous work experiences, this showed us she was eager to get started and get to know everyone. She made her way through the home introducing herself to all the residents. Residents thought she was full of fun and brightened up the place.

    Nousheen Ahamed has been working in Struan Lodge since last August as an Activity Coordinator. She did her Bachelor in India and started her career as an Activity Co-ordinator in 2022.

    She creates and plans person-centred group and individual activities both in Struan Lodge and in the community. Through her journey, she acquired skills and knowledge from her colleagues and Residents to improve on a daily basis. She helps residents achieve the daily activities to bring a positiveness in their lives. As part of an efficient team member, she is proud to be part of Struan Lodge.

    Conor provides the Maintenance for the property and his main responsibilities are the health and safety of our residents and staff alike. Conor has a keen eye and attention to detail which he has gained during his many years as a stonemason.

Working with the elderly excites her and she is very passionate about her career.
