Struan Lodge Welcomes Our New Home Manager, Kieran Burt

We’re delighted to share the news that Kieran Burt has joined us as the new Home Manager here at Struan Lodge. Kieran brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for care, having dedicated his career to supporting older adults with compassion and understanding.

After completing his nursing studies at Edinburgh University, Kieran began working in the care home sector, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. He then further developed his expertise within the NHS, where he was part of the Edinburgh Care Home Support Team. Most recently, Kieran held the position of Deputy Manager at one of our sister care homes, where his leadership and commitment made a lasting impression on residents, families, and colleagues alike.

Kieran is looking forward to getting to know all of our residents and the families and friends who make up such an important part of life at Struan Lodge. He has already been out and about around the home, chatting with residents, listening to their stories, and learning more about what makes our community so special.

As Kieran settles in, he’ll be taking time to meet families and visitors, so please don’t hesitate to say hello if you’re visiting soon. We’re excited about the fresh perspective and expertise he brings to Struan Lodge, and we know he’ll play an important role in ensuring our home remains a warm, welcoming, and supportive place for everyone.
