Struan Lodge Care Home is a private, purpose-built home located in the bustling suburb of Balgreen. We proudly deliver around-the-clock Nursing Care, Residential Care, Dementia Care, Respite Care and Palliative Care for up to 30 residents. Our luxury care home in the city of Edinburgh is a true home-from-home, with skilled nursing and care teams on hand to deliver the highest levels of comprehensive care for residents as a whole.

Our beautiful en-suite bedrooms have been carefully and considerately designed to the highest quality. All rooms are equipped with bedroom furniture, a profiling bed, TV, WiFi, a Nurse Call System and an accessible toilet. All rooms also feature their own telephone point, allowing residents to communicate with loved ones at any time of day or night.

A Seamless Transition to Struan Lodge

Our ‘move-in coordinators’ are on hand to help new residents adjust to life at Struan Lodge Care Home as smoothly as possible. Residents can get help moving furniture and equipment into their new room from our friendly staff. We strive to make the transfer to Struan Lodge as seamless and joyful as possible. We organise the move with residents and their family and are there to help them every step of the journey.

Struan Lodge’s bedrooms are fully equipped with everything a resident could need for a relaxing stay, including a private en-suite wetroom. Residents can use our nurse call systems to call for assistance from their bedrooms.

Residents can personalise their space in any way they want. We want residents to feel as comfortable as possible while staying with us at Struan Lodge. Residents bring photographs, decorations, or small pieces of furniture to help them adjust to Struan Lodge as quickly as possible.

Relatives and loved ones are always welcome to visit residents residing at Struan Lodge Care Home. For visits during our busier periods such as mealtimes or during unsociable hours, we ask that you contact the home in advance.
