Comprehensive, Person-Centred Care

Struan Lodge Care Home offers a range of care services, including Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite Care. Our primary focus is the health of our residents, therefore we assign a primary nurse to each one of them. This dedicated nurse will visit with the residents to discuss and assess their needs, develop a person-centered plan and routinely monitor and review their care. Our purpose-built home offers all the amenities residents require to lead happy and fulfilled lives and ensures residents feel comfortable and safe in a warm and inviting environment that truly feels like a home away from home.

Residential Care

Residential Care allows individuals to be able to enjoy living in a community while receiving respectful and expert care that is entirely tailored to their needs. Our approach to Residential Care places emphasis on entire health, wellbeing and interests in addition to their care needs, ensuring that they have everything they need to live a happy and fulfilling life. We’re driven to support our people in living their lives their way, with as much or as little aid as they require. Our residents benefit from the advantages of shared living with like-minded people, free from the hassles of running a household.

Nursing Care

Nursing Care is available to residents at Struan Lodge 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our caring staff has undergone rigorous training in providing the best level of care to those with physical disabilities, high dependency needs, and end-of-life care. All of our residents will be allocated a nurse who will become a friendly, familiar face to them, answering any questions or concerns they or their family members may have. We want to give each person who lives with us a comprehensive care plan that allows them to reach their full potential and live a satisfying and comfortable life every day here in our nursing home in Edinburgh.

Dementia Care

We work hard to ensure that each resident enjoys the little things in life, helping them to get the most out of their stay, and we take pride in providing the highest level of care and respect to every resident. Our staff has received comprehensive dementia training, and we take pride in providing each resident with the highest level of care and respect possible. We make every effort to provide treatment that helps each person to attain their greatest potential and live a happy and comfortable life.
